For the 2023 edition, I had the pleasure of being Latada's Technical Coordinator of Image. This meant I lead and managed the team that developed the visual identity and all visual assets of the event.

Latada started as a series of simple events and cerimonies, however, in recent years it has turned to something greater than a tradition, becoming a festival where internationally acclaimed artists have performed.

To represent both its traditional and festive character, we decided to mix classic symbols of Coimbra's student life - cans, potties, pacifiers, scissors, clubs, wooden spoons and turnips - with vibrant, festival-worthy colours.

Using the different combinations of colors and objects, we developed a program in Processing which allowed us to create randomly generated backgrounds - the possibilities were endless.
